General CommentGerard McMann/G. Tom Mac wanted the song to resonate with the Lost Boys movie but not be specifically about vampires.He had a copy of the script but had not seen any portion of the film. Per other sites (Wikipedia & song facts to name two) he wrote the song “about a rejected youth’s longing for family, something he felt nearly everyone can relate to on some level”. A video for 'Cry Little Sister (Club Cave Mix)' was produced by DJ Lee and G Tom Mac, and included as a bonus feature on the Lost Boys: The Tribe DVD in 2008. A blues -inspired acoustic rendition was released as a non-album single in 2009, subtitled the 'Blood Swamp Version'.
